How do you think Joseph's character has changed from chapter 1 to chapter 2?
I think that in chapter one of Orbiting Jupiter Joseph was a lot more closed off than he now is in chapter 2. In chapter one is seems like Joseph was trying to distance himself off from everybody, but currently in chapter 2 he is participating in gym and math and seems to be opening up to more people. In the first part of chapter 2 Joseph didn't want to have any kind of affection from Rosie (the cow) but in the last part of chapter 1 and in chapter 2 Joseph seems to enjoy Rosie's affection .
Why do you think Joseph was especially good in gym? What do you think Joseph would do if he finds out his dad was at his foster home?
Throughout the first part of chapter one, many people have preconceived notions about Joseph. I think the teachers and bus driver labeled Joseph a troublemaker, someone that does not have much respect for anyone and is someone that will always get in trouble. I think that his foster family thinks of him as someone who has a dark past but doesn't deserve to.
This is my info-graph on being a good digital citizen, mainly about being careful about what you post.
The first 2 weeks of school I've taken most of this time to get to know my teacher and see how he does things differently. I have most enjoyed the time we get for silent reading and art. So far I have found this year easy, I like my teacher for this year and I like most of my classmates, it helps that I am familiar with all of them. I would like to have more silent reading time. At the end of the year I would like to go to Toronto for a Blue Jays game, the CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium and the arcade, like previous grade 8's have went to.
